About the Frugal Bostonian
I’ve lived in Boston most of my life. I wanted to learn how to manage a blog, and since blogging guides suggest writing about something you know well, I decided to launch the frugalbostonian.
I’ll be writing about ways to legally make extra money, save money, and enjoy a variety of entertainment for free or bargain prices. Although some posts are Boston-centered, most are applicable anywhere. Unless otherwise indicated, I have actually done whatever I am writing about. So if I write about an opportunity I found on craigslist, you’ll find out what it actually entailed - it won’t be a repost from craigslist.
I am not being paid by anyone or anything I post about, posts will be about my experiences. I have a full-time completely unrelated job, this blog is to share my finds and allow me to learn to blog. While I am hoping this site brings in enough money to cover the cost of hosting, making money is not my primary goal (although generating income from the web certainly fits within the topic of this site).
